We are delighted to invite you to the Jubilee Gala of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Warsaw, which will take place on May 15-16, 2025, in the Auditorium of the former Library of the University of Warsaw.

The Gala will consist of two special parts.

The first day – Memory Day – will be dedicated to reflections on the history of our Faculty, the people who have shaped it over the decades, our achievements, and the Faculty’s contribution to the development of social sciences.

On the second day, an international academic conference titled Political, Social & International Order at the Moment of Change will take place. Leading scholars from Poland and around the world will discuss present and future challenges and threats facing modern states and societies during five thematic panels:

Stosunki międzynarodowe – Dzień po zmierzchu międzynarodowego liberalnego porządku 

Polityki publiczne  – Jak populizm zmienia politykę publiczną? Między państwem opiekuńczym a liberalnym. Ile państwa, a ile indywidualnej odpowiedzialności?

Nauki o Bezpieczeństwie – Czy świat jest dzisiaj bardziej bezpieczny niż w czasach zimnej wojny?

Nauki o polityce – Elity polityczne a wyborcy w XXI wieku: jak kształtują się i są realizowane procesy decyzyjne we współczesnych systemach demokratycznych?

Europeistyka – Quo vadis Unio Europejsko?

On May 31, 2025, we warmly invite all students and staff of the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies to a special WNPiSM Family Picnic celebrating the 50th anniversary of our Faculty! The event will take place at the legendary Autonomia—the gardens behind the building at Nowy Świat 67/69.

This is a perfect opportunity to celebrate half a century of our Faculty in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Expect great conversations, music, games, and various attractions that will bring us even closer together and strengthen the spirit of our academic community.
